The White House “declines” to “offer” #Congress an estimate of the #cost of the #war with #Iran.

In a 2nd appearance on Capitol Hill this week, #RussellVought, the White House budget director [& #Project2025 architect], sidestepped questions about the price tag of the #US & #Israel led conflict. He said the “fluctuating” nature of the war made it hard to calculate either the expenses incurred to date or the amount that #Trump would seek soon in new #military funding.

Zumindest in deutscher Politik sehe ich dagegen zunehmend autoritäres Verhalten. Ob weitere Kürzungen im Sozialbereich, also die Rückabwicklung sozialer Fortschritte, Kriminalisierung friedlichen Protests, Pressefreiheit, grösseres Budget und Berechtigungen für Geheimdienste, Installierungen von Überwachung (Palantir), #PAD ...
Das alles geht u.a. auch mit #project2025 konform.
Und die Wahlen in Ungarn haben zwar Orban abgewählt aber eben auch durch einen Rechtskoservativen ersetzt.

Im Gegenteil. Denn Trump und Umgebung mögen ein/das Extrem sein, sind aber nur die derailing-Spitze des "Eisbergs" #project2025
Das machtpolitische, autoritäre Projekt findet ein nur allzu positives, aktives Echo in den meisten europäischen Regierungen. Auch deshalb sind mAn die offiziellen Reaktionen so ..zurückhaltend. Und so wird sich alles auf einem "weniger demokratischen" Level wiederfinden und versucht werden Verbindungen zu "normalisieren" wenn Trump ...abgelöst wurde. 1/n

What this article doesn't say is that the US Postal Service was never meant to be a "business". It's a SERVICE. Republicans have been undermining that service since the Bush administration in 2006. They want desperately to privatize it. It's part of Project 2025.
