A great start to the week!

The latest issue of the NSPKU News & Views popped through the door first thing.

Went to Salford Royal yesterday, to chat with a dietician (and others) about my #pku

First conversation I've had with medical professionals like that in over 30 years.

Feels strange to be kinda rejoining the #pkucommunity and identifying as a person with #pku again.

At one point in my life, it had felt like I'd put all that behind me. But deliberations around my health as a 50-something caused me to draw a very reasonable conclusion...

I need to start treatment again.

My notes on the Rare Minds workshop at NSPKU 2024 which discussed PKU and mental wellbeing. This workshop grew out of the amazing response to the Starting the Conversation workshop at ESPKU 2023.

Supplement, medicine, special drink... I'm thinking about #PKU supplements this month.

First up, looking at if we actually manage all of our supplement.

If you have PKU, do you take your supplement every day?
