@petersuber @DOAJ @alicemeadows Thank you Peter, DOAJ, and Alice for your support and advocacy around this initiative! PKP is so pleased about the growing interest and uptake of the #PFLabel, and DOAJ's endorsement is a big step toward the goals set out for this journal integrity initiative.

✅ In PKP's "Archipelago" - "The Publication Facts Label: Put your journal's integrity in black and white"

"The #PFLabel will inspire #editors and #authors to comply with #PublishingStandards... (and) for editors, keep an eye on days-to-publication and pursue #indexing opportunities...

The first 500+ journals have it in place and the number grows every day. The more widely it is used... the better it serves as a trust marker..."

📢 Call for translators en français #OSFair2025 @osfair and #NISOPlus25 @NISOInfo

You may have attended the talks on the Publication Facts Label, and we have a call to action if you'd like to contribute!

The #PFLabel is ready for its production release for OJS v3.3-3.5 in 9 languages but it is ~ 460 words short en français and we'd love to include French in the release.

Can you help? Learn more about the PFL and the call:

Hope you're all having a great time!

Thanks so much for your interest in the Publication Facts Label #PFLabel! We've had community feedback and made some improvements:

a) The label will now only be applied to articles that are in the journal’s peer-reviewed section.
b) You can set the date range for applying the label, if you have articles that were not peer-reviewed in OJS.
c) The label now appears immediately below the abstract and above the references on the article landing page.

Installing the Publication Facts Label (PFL) Plugin | Scribe

Journals will require Site Administrator assistance to upload plugin files and to install plugin from the Plugin Gallery. For this trial, the Publication Facts Label will only work with English monolingual journals using OJS V3.3. If the trial demonstrates sufficient reader interest in the label, then the goal (and promise) is to provide full support for OJS versions (3.3 and onwards) and all OJS languages. Thank you for participating in this trial.
