I guess that is a matter of perspective. At least Canada and Northern Europe has shared interests. But Canada is unlikely to worry too much on what could happen with Algeria, Egypt, Sahel, Turkey or Syria in the future. However, the structures coming into place around the EU, #CSDP and #PESCO,
