Gave it a quick clean (Dasty) before putting everything back together again. No RGB mod needed as I will mod the CD dock for RGB. Then I remembered I should do the jailbar fix first! Turned it on and don't really notice jailbar, but weren't they more visible with RGB? #pcengine #turbografx16 #PCエンジン

Recapped the #turbografx16. On the PAL TG16 I destroyed a few pads. Most caps are connected on the top on one side. So it is better to heat the pad topside and remove it. Also make sure to suck out the solder on those ads before putting new ones. Will make it easier. #pcengine #PCエンジン

Never seen something like this before. IC102 has a plastic metal shield thing? U populate I pads. 23C1000 mask rom, uPD65006 CMOS gate array (?) and space for an Als245 for mapper logic? #pcengine #PCエンジン #turbografx16

I think I read somewhere that the boards between the US and PAL #turbografx16 were quite similar with so.e small differences. But these look quite different, unless they were talking about the shape... #pcengine #PCエンジン
