AMucked up. I hate to say it, but even a decade or more ago I was telling people shits gonna happen faster than all the models. Call it a coin toss that I have so far been correct.
Climate data is particularly scarce where we need it the most: at the poles but also the modeling has neglected land use. Some of that was due to a lack of compute power and the inconvenient politics that land use puts politicians on the spot for their development policies.
