A first for me 🍻

After the first 8 holes it was shaping up to be the most boring round ever

Somewhere between 8 and 9 I learned how to throw a decent backhand flex and it got more fun

It’s always fun to get out to Oyster Bay, but today was particularly giving — even occasional cloud cover

I didn’t throw great (nose up, timing/no snap) but putting was 🔥

After a disastrous 3-putt from 50 feet on 6, I hit birdies from 25 and 40 feet on 7 and 9, then parked 11

13 is apparently par 4 when it’s long — hit a 30 footer for a bonus birdie. Made 30-35 foot saves on 15 and 16, then a 30-foot birdie on 18 to bring it home 🎯
