I've been playing Oxytone recently. You place hexagonal tiles to extend a path and score points based on the length. You have a limited number of tiles per level and you can get more by going through every path on a tile. You have to balance building a long path and making sure you have the resources to keep going.

I've just been aiming for the basic score to unlock the challenges. Since there is randomness in which tiles you get I can't imagine going for gold medals. It'd require some insane planning and I don't love the game to put that much effort in.
