I really really want to like the Pathfinder CRPGs but Owlcat manages to put in huge mechanics I am not interested in at all.

In Kingmaker the whole timed Castle thingy is just frustrating and completely uninteresting, and in WotR the whole crusade mechanic is totally the opposite of what CRPG should be. If I want to play a strategy game I'd play CK3.
