Samsung remakes “Over the Horizon” for 2026!
Just a week before the Unpacked event, Samsung has introduced the renewed version of “Over the Horizon” for 2026 to the public, and the ringtone is now available on YouTube to listen to it. This version of the ringtone has a different theme, called “A Soundtrack of the Earth,” which captures the planet’s beauty with orchestral melodies.
The official Samsung Newsroom announcement states that it holds a message of sustainability by describing the delicacy of nature, and that it portrays the harmony between technology and the planet.

Behind the scenes, this ringtone was composed in Abbey Road Studios in London by a Los Angeles-based composer and pianist, Eunike Tanzil. She was known for her lyrical melodies and expressive harmonies, while she got Samsung’s attention on 2024 due to her re-interpretation of the theme.
In this version of “Over the Horizon”, the opening was led by brass and horns, which describe the mountains, while the legato strings in the middle section describe the calmness of the sea. The angklung is also used to create a distinctive harmony, making this ringtone a piece of art.
