To those who do donate to #resonite, i wanna make a suggestion. And to be clear i am NOT saying stop donating to them. But maybe also give some money to #overte as well. I mean its good to have more options right? just in case one shuts down or enshittifies.

again not trying to be mean. its just not for me. big thing i want is open source and not centralized.and the vague gestures at it maybe being open sourced are not enough

#overte seems to offer that for me though. i really wish more people would get into that. it does require some tech knowledge tho because well... its kinda like Minecraf in that you have to self host your own server.

it is rough around the edges. but the devs are real nice and helped me out.
