I just discovered a great way to stop Overgrowth from crashing on Linux every time I create a map or arena and try to save:
See, the way Overgrowth saves things may not work well on native Linux, so if you have the Steam version, force Proton 9 on it, and all of your troubles will go away!
I have a love/hate relationship with Overgrowth, but this rainy cave arena is very buggy.
