On the topic of ‘forever’, below is a song about a guy looking for a forever and he didn’t find it and that didn’t work out as good as it could have for him in the long run. But that wasn’t as bad as how that realization turned out for Taylor Swift when her telephone didn’t ring and she realized forever and always didn’t mean anything. What’s the moral? Maybe looking for a forever or a for always or a for certain isn’t the rational way to approach life?
I don’t like that. Does that make me irrational? An escapist? Delusional?
Or maybe just a person who needs to find something to do on a late Monday morning? Like go to Menard’s. To tell you the truth, I’m about the last person who should be going to a store like Menard’s because I’m not very handy or mechanical, but some time back I needed a nightlight and they had one so I went there. When I was there I found they also sell food and their prices on breakfast cereal are really good, much better than at regular grocery stores. The selection isn’t as large as regular grocery stores, but it’s ok. And if you time it right, which is pretty much almost always, you get an 11% mail-in rebate on your cereal purchase that you can use on your next cereal purchase.
