This weekend I’m attending the Outdoor Conference again. It’s an outdoors training event run by Scouts Scotland.
I’m doing a purely Bushcraft Skills course this time. The aim of the course I’m signed up to is to learn new & develop my own skills and also how to teach them to Young People.

Back from Outdoors 25. Had a great time, met many lovely people and learnt a lot.
This was meant to be a picnic bench, but it’s more of bar. In case you were wondering.
The ground wasn’t level. We decided to move it and adjusted the design after the initial construction. Hence the “had a few pints” look. 😆

Well it's not technically dry. But this will be fine.
Though “fully catered”, they say that starts at breakfast tomorrow, so it looks like there’s going to be no food on the 1st night of this training event.
As it's far, I have to leave later this afternoon, before tea, so I’m eating early and taking a snack. Will likely be a roll.
There will be a licensed bar both evenings but that doesn’t equate to nourishment. And it’s a village hall, not a full time pub.
Looking forward to it though. Better get food prepared…I may not post much.
The weather forecast has much improved for my Scouting outdoors training event which starts tomorrow.
Pretty much dry now, but they warn you in the provided information that you can get 4 Seasons in 1 day at this time of year.
They say they usually have 140 attending this event. That’s including the instructors. And there’s no Young People, it’s only for adult volunteers to learn new skills.
