Not much work today with my beloved 18th century probate inventories, I decoded one before going to my biannual check up with a rheumatologist. Then I took the bus to my closest lake for a quick dip. I even managed a few breast strokes in the really (6-7 degrees max) cold water. It was lovely to dry in the sun afterwards.
I also saw this year's first tussilago, bumblebee, and brimstone butterfly.

A lovely walk in the forest. With my first outdoor swim (in cold water) this year. It was a little spontaneous, so I had no towel and had to dry in the sun. The wind was a bit cold, but otherwise nice.

After working a couple of hours yesterday (Thursday, it is after midnight when I write this) I went to the forest to pick mushrooms, and eventually visit my best friend, and have a swim.

I needed a day off to get rid of some of the stress, so I took two buses and two ferries, to get to the small island Hyppeln in Gothenburg's northern archipelago.

After work, and laundry, today I went to the forest to look for mushroom. I found lots of king boletes, and some scarletina boletes, and a very few chantarelles.
I put some of the king boletes and the chantarelles in a hot pan to get rid of excess water. When the water was gone I added butter, salt, and pepper, and fried them some more.
The rest of the king boletes and the scarletina boletes were just fried to get rid of the water, and will be put in the freezer. The lack of fat makes them last longer than if I had fried them in butter.
It was windy and not very warm, especially at six pm, when I was finished, so no swimming today.
I hope to go to the sea tomorrow, for a last swim in the sea this year.
