Since i have been posting about this all day, i can confirm that my services are being restored but in the oddest way. Only some IP’s are working. Amazon does not. Yelp does. Most work actually now. It’s like they are adding them back to a database manually or something. Seems odd but what do i know? #tmobile #outage #isp #down

My first thought… AI wrote this right? Maybe not? While a synthetic personal voiced apology letter sounds nice as an idea; I can’t help but cringe at how the team working on the problem is probably understaffed and in the dark while you sent me emails that say. “We just now finally got everyone to answer the phone and we told them they can’t leave until the internet is restored. Also we tried a few shortcuts and even swapped out some hardware but yet we still haven’t a clue what caused the issue or how to fix it, otherwise we would have given you an ETA in the form of units of time measurement instead of treating this like a journalist in a warzone.” Still waiting on the internet, maybe leave the radio alone for a while? #tmobile #outage #T_Mobile #internet #down #email #ai

I have already been thru hell with them over billing, after our account migration was borked. I woke up today with no internet. I checked to see if there was an outage, i did not see one. I just got an email from them about how they are so so sorry about my internet going down without any explanation or ETA. Wtf? Why is this the norm now?

Once again I had #outage at Bitwoods #Mastodon server. And the same reason: Samsung EVO Plus 32 GB #SDcard switched to "write protected mode" after 200 days or 500 GB writes. It was the 3rd failing card (I still have 2 spares remaining) and the failing time is now pretty predictable. Maybe switching to bigger card would give longer life-time?

Luckily it was easy to recover just by dd'ing the old read-only card into a fresh new one and just reboot. No data loss AFAIK.
