First is Felicia Sullivan-Johnson, Mrs. South Carolina American 2024 and native of Greenwood. She gave riveting testimony as a suicide attempt survivor that left me speechless.
And then there are the women-warriors: Cynthia Halpin Brown, Dr. Jumelle Brooks, Tory Miller and Francie Kleckley who inspire me with their compassion and commitment for the community.
I am truly a better man because of them.

HLGEMI called this one Dark Side of the Moon. I made it in tribute to a #Firefly fan friend who died several years ago. She had known she was dying and she lived life to it's fullest until the very end. I miss her still. The fractal shows that even in the darkness their if light and hope of a better future.
