Given the recent corporate takeover of @PeerJ :

Are there any safeguards that @OpenAlex (or its mother non-profit #OurResearch) actually *stays* open? (They seem to be very committed to it, but other project were committed too …)

#OpenAlex is IMO one of the most promising and transformative open infrastructures, which needs to be defended (and made sustainable) as a public good.
