Description: I’m holding up a sketchbook with the finished painting. Looking through a brick and cobblestones alley. Partially lit by sunlight. An old lantern mounted on the wall to the left. Rain pipes left and right. Leading to an old building with windows and signs at the old Main Street (Leeuweringerstraat). Window frames white and smaller glass windows within. Parked bike against the wall. A man pushing a stack of delivery crates. We made a joke: I might as well paint him in the scene, so I did😂 when he came back he was joyfully surprised and made a picture to show at home.

Gezellige reünie met oud- collega’s Utrechtse #burgemeesters in #bunschoten Fijn om iedereen weer even gezien te hebben. Op de foto met mijn opvolger Agnes #Oudewater, Ester #IJsselstein, ‘media-burgemeester’ Sjors #Vijfheerenlanden en CdK Hans.

Wow. Het was weer een indrukwekkende prestatie en voorstelling! Oudewater heeft zichtbaar genoten van de prachtige voorstelling #Zorro De Musical, dat door zeer veel vrijwilligers in de stad is neergezet. Erg leuk om iedereen weer te hebben gezien. #oudewater

Mooie eerste #paasdag. Mijn oude brandweerkorps uit #Oudewater kwam namelijk op bezoek. Dus leerzaam programma bij de Twente Safety Campus #RiskFactory Uiteraard naar #RTVOost en #Roombeek. Mooie afsluiting bij #Lonneker #Paasvuur

Gisteravond afscheid raad #Oudewater 2022-2026. Als afscheidscadeau een prachtige tekening van Pia Sprong. De raad in vergadering bijeen. En eervol: het college van B&W inclusief voormalig wethouders Walther Kok en Bas Lont. En ikzelf als voormalig burgemeester links vooraan.
