I dropped one of my #OtherworldMiniatures spider #miniatures. Its rear legs bent. In trying to bend its legs back, the first segment of one of its rear legs broke off and fell in the floor. I can't find it.
But... the spider still looks OK missing part of a leg segment there. Maybe it is a seasoned fighter and lost part of a leg in combat?
I think I'm going to make it the "tough" spider.
I have all three primed and drying now.
My order from #OtherworldMiniatures arrived today (07 August 2024). It was shipped from the UK to the US in surprisingly good time.
I got a Marilith demon, a trio of spiders, and a Grendel figure. The Marilith came in four parts (body, tail, and two unattached arms), but the others are all single-piece castings.
The spiders might pose a basing challenge for me; only their spindly legs touch the ground.

I received a notice early this morning that a package I ordered from the UK is shipping. No idea how long it will take to arrive, but it's shipping.
I placed the order on 10 July 2024. It was for a miniature manufacturer (#OtherWorldMiniatures) closing/retirement sale with everything on the site 50% off so I knew it would be awhile to ship. I missed the Pig-faced #Orcs, they were sold out when I heard about the sale.

I want to buy #miniatures but I can't decide which ones I want to buy first.
I'm torn between a #DarkswordMiniatures #Owlbear and Cubs, or #OtherworldMiniatures Pig-faced #Orcs as possible discretionary purchases this month.
If I order from Otherworld Miniatures it will be shipped from the UK so will take the longest to arrive.

I'm painting a set of Otherworld #Miniatures wolves.
It's 10 wolves. Two are larger than the others, like they're dire wolves, but they're all big so I'll base all of them as Large creatures.
The two larger wolves are unique models, but the eight smaller wolves are four poses, with two of each pose.
I'm painting one set of the four poses as black-furred red-eyed worgs instead of wolves.
I have two almost done and two very early on now.
I've been so excited to play with Mastodon, find new people, follow new people, and... just all the newness of it, that I barely painted anything in the past week.
I saw a FB post ask about consistency of MSP 29175 Wolfsbane Purple paint and I hadn't tried mine yet, so I decided to try it. So now I'm painting a #DarkSwordMiniatures DSM1150 Female Thief I already had primed.
I also have some #WIP #OtherworldMiniatures wolves but haven't touched them for days.
