Now that ICC has issued arrest warrants - it's time for me to write a whole new batch of letters to my Canadian MP & other federal officials to ask they cease all business with Israel in light of the new developments. If we continue to do business with that apartheid genocide colony, our country is choosing to ignore international laws too.

According to a new report by the #Israeli newspaper #Haaretz, the number of Israelis #relocating to #Canada has increased considerably during the Israeli aggression on both #Gaza and #Lebanon.

Almost 10,000 #settlers moved from Israeli #OccupiedTerritories to Canada this year, as per the report. The newspaper reported that 7,850 Israelis filed for and were given work visas in Canada in 2024, representing a fivefold increase compared to the previous year.

For context, 1,585 Israelis were granted #WorkVisas in Canada in 2023.

The report revealed that the key reasons for the #migration were "Israel's" precarious #political and security position, heightened conflict, perceived #socioeconomic inequities, and the Israeli occupation's unwillingness to address crucial concerns.

According to the most recent data from the #Canadian Ministry of #Immigration, 3,425 temporary work visas and 4,424 regular work licenses were awarded to Israelis between December 2023 and September 2024.

We are making a combined family donation to #UNRWA because they're a #legit #HumanitarianAid org. One of my longtime #Jewish #Canadian friends, who was a former UN security peacekeeper, has worked with them for several years. She also worked in Ukraine for several months as part of a different #humanitarian aid mission with several other Canadians.

FACT: UNRWA fired 9 staff after investigations & that's a tiny fraction of entire workforce. They did that despite not actually having a lot of evidence that workers were connected to HAMAS.

FACT: IDF has not let go even 9 of their staff, despite multiple pieces of glaring evidence of war crimes committed - a lot of the evidence was taped by IDF ppl themselves.

Opposition parties have offered up Dáil speaking time in order to pass a bill that would ban goods and services produced in illegal Israeli settlements.

The Government has agreed to bring the bill forward as far as possible in the short time remaining before a general election, but has indicated that it will not be passed before the Dáil is dissolved.

Tánaiste Micheál Martin has cited considerable amendments that are required to ensure the Occupied Territories Bill would not be legally contested once passed.
