#BikeNitePQ: I think this is a re-#cycle, but a multi-part question:

* Do you gps track your rides?
* If so, do you use a dedicated device or your mobile phone?
* Is your ride data on the web?

A thing I found out about years ago: #OSMAnd mobile app has a plugin for sharing your location.

It requires configuring for your tracking service (I use a Nextcloud instance with a plugin to produce the secure API,) which was easy for me and fuss-free since.

Apropos #diday:
Nachdem ich mich auf meinem aktuellen #OpenSource-Trip von #Komoot verabschiedet habe, kann ich sagen, dass sich die Verwendung verschiedener Tools, die zusammen Komoot ersetzen, deutlich besser anfühlt, eben weil man selber Herr über die Daten bleibt.
- Routenplanung in #bikerouterde
- Speichern der Routen in der eigenen #Nextcloud
- Visualisierung in #umap/ #openstreetmap
- Navi in #Osmand

Jede einzelne Applikation ist ersetzbar und sie alle arbeiten über Standards zusammen

I've done a bit more #OpenStreetMap stuff this week and been bitten again by an issue I have with #StreetComplete : I don't always know when something is already on the map without a change to #OSMAnd .
This means (like today) I double add items or add a note saying 'Thing here' only to discover an hour later its actually already there.

Don't know what the solution is - perhaps an option for Street Complete to show all items in an area, not just its filtered views? Whatever it is, this keeps biting me.

@krokofant Ja, Navigation ist da ordentlich. Traffic-Daten lassen sich da ja auch einbinden, allerdings nur die von Google - immerhin etwas datenschutzfreundlicher. Allerdings gäbs sonst auch keine Daten. :D Muss ich endlich mal testen.

Allerdings Ist das Kartenrendering von #OsmAnd wirklich komplett Grütz. Teilweise warte 10 Sekunden, bis der betrachtete Kartenausschnitt lädt, obwohl die Karte auf dem Gerät liegt. Ist auch schlicht egal, welche Engine ich nutze, laufen beide auf ihre eigene Art beschissen. Die Leistungsgfähigkeit der Hardware spielt da quasi keine Rolle.

@cryptgoat ich bin glücklich mit OSMAnd, bis ich im Stau stehe, weil ich vergessen habe, wie früher(tm) Verkehrsfunk zu hören...

Im Moment habe ich zum Test HERE WEGo installiert, das scheint die Verkehrslage zu kennen #herewegomaps #osmand #verkehrsfunk

Wie übertrage ich alle Dateien vom alten Samsung?
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Einstellungen aller Apps zu übertragen?
Die Apps sind: #OsmAnd #Threema #FairEmail #Firefox #NewPipe #Tusky #FDroid #QuickDic #makeAcopy #Öffi und zehn weitere.

Die Kontakte waren einfach als .vcf zu exportieren.

J'ai visionné un tas de road trips à moto, à travers le monde, ces derniers temps et j'ai remarqué qu'#OSMAnd est beaucoup utilisé en situation réelle surtout lors de la traversée de certains pays.

Il n'y a pas que Google Maps.
