@jsr I will be some kind of tea-themed Batman villain. Break into the Natural History Museum when they're about to unveil a new stegosaurus and when they lift the curtain I'm there with my henchmen having a nice cuppa and a sit down. And when Batman tries to stop me I'll point out that the stegosaurus is still here too and everyone's invited to have tea and Commissioner Gordon already has a cup so who's the real villain here Batman maybe it is Society.

2023 movie viewings, #14. Well, that was a depressing, pretentious, exploitative disaster. Like most of Darren Aronofsky's movies since Pi, I'm glad I watched this once so I can say I did, but I will never be revisiting this dreary, glacially paced, emotionally manipulative piece of Oscarbait ever again. P.S. I can't be the only one who broke into open laughter every time Brandan Fraser reached for a candy bar in this movie and Aronofsky decided to pair it with a horror-movie soundtrack.
