Five German nationals are killed in an avalanche in Italy.

Five German mountaineers have died in an avalanche disaster in the Ortler mountainous region of Italy's South Tyrol.

On Sunday, Italian rescue teams also found the bodies of the last two missing Germans - a father and his 17-year-old daughter.

Three other members' bodies of the group had already been recovered on Saturday.

Video of us ascending the glacier at the Ortler (3905m) in Italy. Weather was sub-optimal but doable. Because of static in the air, we do not go fully up to the steel summit cross, but descended very quickly instead. We missed the summit maybe by 10-20 meters.
