I’m watching the #4K80 fan film restoration of #StarWars #TheEmpireStrikesBack and foot the first time I noticed the Rebel T-47 Airspeeders on Hoth sometimes are transparent due to the difficulties of matting against a white background. I’m sure it was fixed for the special edition so you won’t see it on Disney Plus.

this seems to be the perfect way to view the #starwars #originaltrilogy to me. you see, i believe that some of the changes made the special editions were for the best and i never really was a fan of fan project that sought to undo all of them. this is a blend of the two with on top of that, some additional changes (like aging anakin's ghost) which are just fantastic.
