mindsetsIn general, the reason potential reformers do not sufficiently organize is that they don't fundamentally dislike bad stuff. Not purely on the basis of it being bad. Not on that principle, really. Instead, they just dislike how the bad stuff makes them (or others) feel; the hurt or harm which they (or others) feel as a result of bad stuff. So this undercuts their prep time. Which, in turn, makes the timely growth of their movement unlikely.
grechawI need to talk about unionization, because my workplace is doomed if the execs don't stop dithering in a fantasy. Most of me wants to find another gig where the atmosphere is more professional, but that idea seems at risk generally, and a union is the real path forward. Work controls all of the communication channels among employees - so how does one even get a foot in the door for organizing a bunch of remote, dejected workers (many of whom are comfortable in meaningless mediocrity). Hal AetusMade some upgrades to my mat cutting/leatherworking table in the workshop. Should improve workflow but will take a while to move all the bits and bobs around to optimize. Just not having to shuffle all the little cluttery things around with every project will be 👌
