What makes this possible, is it the device tree and bootloader which are supplied by edk2 (in this case) ?

I've moved gitea off the orangepi5 and have it now working well on my #pinephone which is connected via usb ethernet to the network, it's running #postmarketos and seems to be handling it well https://git.solarcene.community
The mastodon instance is still on the orangepi and while it does keep resetting it seems to be reasonably stable, it's all backed up, I'm still planning what to do next, I might build a second server and then move everything across. Still not sure what's made the #orangepi5 unstable after over a year of running

It had a blown PMIC (RK806-1), as you can see on the pics.
Cool fact - anyone can easily buy those chips.
Not cool fact - those Oranges are sucking the heat badly.
So I had to put it on the preheater to replace the chip, because hot air alone either won't provide enough heat or would burn the board.
But it's all good in the end - one more fix ✅.

Я тут маялся с подключением к #OrangePi5 измеритель напряжения и силы тока #ina219 - но не сильно успешно. Но в руки мне попала #RaspberryPi4 и всё завелось без особых усилий.
