Just released my first npm package for #OpenSCAD and it feels like a milestone! Run "npx scadder install [url-or-model-id]" to pull the respective scad (like the gridfinity-rebuilt-baseplate) from GitHub onto your local machine.

I started playing guitar 20+ years ago, I always repaired and set up my instruments myself, fiddled with electronics, swapped parts, and even built one guitar from scratch (DIY neck, DIY bridge, custom pickup) and thought I knew everything.
It turns out being a bedroom guitarist I barely scratched the surface. Only last year playing in a band for 4-5 hours once a week showed me how much nuanced setting up an instrument could be.
I've made the nut for my 8-string (bought originally as defective, stock nut unusable) so long ago, that it was designed in a pirated CAD software on Windows, can't believe I used to do things like that :D
And only recently I found out how bad the design was. So I've made a good parametric #OpenSCAD model, fine tuned to my needs, and printed it in polycarbonate.

Chtěl jsem vám napsat, jak jsem se naučil v #OpenScad udělat jednoduchý model pro #3dtisk

Potřeboval jsem totiž podložku pod náš nový reolink zvonek, protože nepřekrývá instalační krabici. Tak jsem se do toho pustil a když jsem měl kousek hotový, tak mě napadlo: "Dyť ses nekoukl na printables, jestli tam něco není...".

Long story short, cca 10 vymakaných modelů, spousty variant... Tak třeba příště 😅

@nina_kali_nina also happened to #BOSL2, a great library adding a lot of fancy stuff to #OpenSCAD.
Now, I have no moral ground to criticize, I'm in no way smart enough to contribute; and even for the things LLM-generations seem to be used - code formatting and grammar - well, I didn't contribute that either, so who am I to judge people who contributed using LLM?
Still, I found myself not using this library in my latest project somehow, so I guess I do criticize deeply inside :D
