The only remotely relevant issue I found on this is that micd doesn’t work if “started too fast”. I don’t think that’s exactly my problem, but this did lead me to remembering that I left home in a rush and I don’t really know if the #CommaAI was booted up fully. But it seems fine now at lunch.
First unexpected issue with #OpenPilot today. micd isn’t running so lane keeping won’t engage.
I mean, I can see why you would not want it to do lane keeping if not everything is up and running, but micd specifically has nothing to do with steering the car. So that was annoying. Hopefully just a random glitch.

#TIL il existe un logiciel de pilotage automatique de voiture (via le bus CAN) open source, qui fonctionne sur du matériel d'une société OU sur des smartphones par exemple, selon ce qui est développé par la communauté. Plusieurs modèles d'entraînement disponibles. C'est trop cool (la voiture individuelle et la surenchère technologique c'est pas cool, mais une version open source d'un truc pareil c'est très cool).
