Now that the #openscad 3D design is finished and the device mounted on the kitchen wall, it's time to create an #openhasp layout with essential house controls! #homeassistant
Finaly got around to playing with the #lilygo t-rgb 2.8" a round IPS TFT with capacitive touch and ESP32-S3. With all components already supported in #openhasp all it took was tweaking the configuration. Now it's #openscad time to make a piece of plastic that makes this display blend over into our wall switch plate.
Added an AC mode selector radio button (cool/fan/off/heat) synchronised over #mqtt to #homeassistant to my #openhasp desk plate yesterday. Still need to hook up the temperature slider
@OhMyGod what about #openHASP? Or #ESPHome? A display according to your needs for a fraction and maybe an ESP32. Needed: some trying and tinkering. Bonus: no #bigbrother at all. 2nd bonus: maybe even 2 displays in the budget. Win-Win. Access to a 3d-printer would be great.
‘Duct tape prototyping’ a Sunton ESP32-3248S035 touchscreen controller. All locally controlled, the control response time is almost instant. #homeassistant#OpenHASP
