Higher-than-normal dose today after having to do a lower dose (~4 to 4.5 mg) last Friday evening because of NHS blood test earlier today.

Well, we've got an NHS blood test booked next Friday morning, which will include hormone level tests for our gender clinic, so sadly we need our estradiol level to be between 400 and 600 pmol/L so that they don't complain at us  

Our estradiol trough goes up by roughly 125 pmol/L for each 1 mg we inject, so this should put our estradiol level somewhere between about 500 and 600 pmol/L.

If enough folks asks for it, we'll do a poll to guestimate what our estradiol test result will be after the test 🩷

Did it about maybe an hour ago, but forgot to do the post immediately afterwarss. It was still 2-3 hours late, but that's kind of become the default 😅 All that matters really is that it was a perfect injection: easy, painless, and no bleeding 🥰

Every injection also feels like a big middle finger up to the NHS and NICE for refusing to prescribe estradiol injections within the UK 🖕🤘

Delayed again by a few hours today. Didn't think we'd have the spoons to do it at all tonight, but had a slight rally. Weird injection though. Not painful, just uncomfortable when pulling out the needle. No blood spurt or anything. Might have been we loosened our grip on the z-track or something, or because we did more walking today by far than we have typically done for 6-12 months. Anyway, all went in fine and no pain afterwards.
