This Open Educational Resource on "Rights and open licensing in scholarly publishing" is based on the content of the workshop facilitated by the authors during the Summer School of the Pubmet 2024 conference, as part of the Retain project within the Knowledge Rights 21 programme*. The workshop aims to equip the publishers and editors of scholarly journals to understand the issues related to rights and licensing, review their current policies and practices, and improve them in line with the international standards and best practices.
