That $150,000,000 that #DougFord spent on five Police Helicopters is looking like a better value every day!

I wonder how many of these drones #Ontario could have bought with that money instead of wasting it on expensive to operate, expensive to buy, not-even-requested-by-the-police crap.

Given the exodus of talent from the US, #Ontario should also allow for recognition of equivalent training, perhaps reducing the education requirement to 0 semesters and only 1 or 2 semesters of practicum.

I'd love to hear perspectives from #Teachers on this.

Remember, this is the guy who pledged, even budgeted, even got money from the Federal government, to spend more on Healthcare during #COVID19 and then simply didn't spend it, rolled it up into next years budget.

#Ontario workers are going to have it tough and it'll only be the efforts of the Federal (hopefully not conservative) that soften the blow

Dog Ford only acts when it affect him.

Yeah because three strikes rules worked so well south of the border. Unless it's corruption or embezzlement or fraud or other white-collar crimes you can fuck off.

This is a lesson Canada can learn from others. Rather than continuing down the privatization route we're being pushed toward by certain politicians, perhaps we can look to our neighbours to the south and see how well that's going for them. They really have taken to heart the adage, "if you can't be a good example, at least be a horrible warning."

@ZebKing @devonblack I think negative bias is a big factor, but it’s worth asking what would inspire folks to overcome it? A progressive political movement pursuing meaningful change might go a long way towards inspiring people to expect and work towards something better. But I feel like the federal and Ontario NDP (can’t speak for other provinces) keep clinging to the centre in puruit of electability, which is anything but inspiring. #cdnpoli #ontariopoli

Reading about PP's conservatives ability to attract younger voters based on housing and cost of living. Why don't people get that a shift to the right won't increase wealth for the bottom, or force companies to build cheaper homes/pay their taxes/etc.?

Just mindboggling. #OntarioPoli
