Donna Scott is a Canadian business person best known as the founder of the fashion magazine #Flare. Scott retired from Flare and went on to chair the #CanadaCouncilForTheArts from 1994 to 1998. She also worked as the executive director of the #OntarioArtsCouncil. She was named an Officer of the #OrderOfCanada in 2000.

This morning I was notified that I didn't make it past the long list for a travel grant. A bit disappointing, but there was a lot of competition, so I wasn't surprised.

But OMG. I *just* landed a big literary creation grant from the Ontario Arts Council worth lots more. I'm playing with the big leaguers now.

I'm feeling shook. Whoa.
