Over the weekend, I started playing
#OneLonelyOutpost. An interesting idea for a variation on a farming simulator, it's sort of Stardew Valley meets The Martian. There are lots of niggly frustrations that could be improved upon.
One running theme is you get given quests that you cannot possibly achieve until a later part of the game is unlocked, but you have no way of knowing how or when that unlock might happen. I think that's the case with finding all the beacons in the Crystal Forest, which is proving annoying.
Also, for a cosy game, it's weird that the soundtrack is reminiscent of a John Carpenter horror film.
