Over Thanksgiving, I got a stomach bug that was awful and dramatic. I suspect a restaurant salad, and I have only eaten homemade food ever since. Today, my sweetie ordered delivery while I was asleep, and got me a salad with grilled salmon, which used to be my favorite. I tried to eat it, but just couldn't bring myself to eat more than a couple of bites. I guess I'm food paranoid now. My own cooking is better, anyhow. #mecfs #chronicillness #oncebittentwiceshy

P.s. I have almost all statements electronic at this point, but was burned once by a seldom used card whose “don’t forget your payment” email reminder looked so much like marketing spam that I missed a (small) payment and had to pay CC interest for the first time in my life.

@caius just in case this was really done all online: if you boot from this pool, you probably want to be sure that the system can still boot at a time when it is convenient to fix problems rather than when you have an unexpected reboot. This should be done with the original drive removed to be sure the system firmware isn’t reading stuff from the drive that will eventually be removed or repurposed. #OnceBittenTwiceShy
