@ibioconsultants Not giving up yet. I reduced the problem by using the USGS #OnDemandTopo map with only a topo layer and one other. The standard quadrant overlap problem went away because you can select any area. Each re-rendering on a Windows PC takes a minute or so; a Pi might compete if I can find the slow code.
