On a #ferry, heading east. Today I'll see what can be done about all the stuff my dad hoarded over the years. Tomorrow my dad's urn is riding shotgun back home. Way back, some 40 years ago, he had a computer repair shop and offered service of different types of computers and terminals. Some of it was on-site with the customer and once in a rare while, I kept him company on those trips. I remember it vividly - me sitting on a couch pillow so I could see out the window and him smoking filter free cigarettes with the windows up. Not that he was deliberately trying to shorten my life - that was just the norm back then. Truth be told, I don't remember if we talked at all. Maybe we did. It was nice though.
