Had to RMA the one that got delivered due to several quality control issues. Waiting for #omtech to send a replacement unit in ~2 weeks.

Wouldn't be so bad, but it's 90lbs, so that was fun to repack and send back.

I spent some time venting my laser. When I ordered my #xTool #F1Ultra I also ordered a larger exhaust fan for my #Omtech #K40. It's impressive how much better cutting is with the (much) more powerful fan, compared to the 4in inline I was using before.

I need to figure out how to lock the board in the window (to compress the weather stripping) and am thinking screw tabs. Plus a way to compress the window (and the whole board with it) for the top seals.

And this one is a custom #geeky #bass #guitar that I made (from a kit) but heavily customized. It’s geeky because I used my #omtech #laser to etch a #CurcuitBoard pattern on the body. The #55v79 on the headstock is a reference to the famous bass solo by #BillySheehan called “NV43345” which is Sheehan upside down. #55v79 is Glass upside down 🤣🤣
