Once, I was able to get [laughter] to sound like a real laugh.
Command used for the following audio:

Obama's Voice Cloned
MIT purposefully degraded their reproduction of Obama's voice, years ago, but now with publicly available, free AI tools, his voice (or any other voice) can be cloned without distortion.

HAL 9000 (from the movie: 2001, A Space Odyssey) is like the AI of today....
It will have the power to shut people out if they do not follow their rules.
Ironically, AI of today was used to change the words of HAL in this old movie.... Can you notice how the audio was changed?

Cloning the voice of GladOS (from the Portal game). OmniVoice is quite good at cloning.
Impressive (to me) voice generation from text.... It runs on my own server and is completely free. For fun, I had it clone the voice of GLaDOS from the Portal game.

You have a good tool for generating speech in Basque. I do not speak that language, but it is generous of you to share your tool publicly.
This other tool mentioned in your linked page is really fast: https://itzune.eus/basque-piper-tts/ I wish it offered English. I managed to install #OmniVoice on my server, but my hardware is slow. I am still glad to have a free tool working. And it does work well! The voice cloning is impressive.

Voici un test concret d'#OmniVoice en #kabyle.
Voici ce que j'ai fait :
1- Je suis allé sur le site web de la Radio Algérienne : Radio Chaîne 2 kabyle.
2- J'ai téléchargé la voix d'une journaliste depuis une émission donnée.
3- Je suis allé sur notre blog "Kabyle in FLOSS" et j'ai copié un paragraphe que j'ai écris-moi même en kabyle
4- J'ai utilisé OmniVoice afin de lire mon texte avec la voix de la journaliste et ça donne ceci.
