Just finished #tellmeeverything by #elizabethstrout & have mixed feelings. While I thoroughly enjoyed the story’s philosophical bent, I found its voice a bit odd as it was very similar to the voice used in Strout’s other #lucybarton novels, which were 1st person. #tellmeeverything was in 3rd person, so I think its voice should have been different.

One novel of hers I feel was overlooked &, besides #olivekitteridge, is probably my favorite is #AbideWithMe. Highly recommend!

#CineJeiter https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/user/rating/967455/288821.html

100%! The book is highly rated and the writing was good but I have a personal need to feel some sympathy for the protagonist!
