I was asked to look after Rosie last minute as her nursery had to shut so my birding plans were cancelled. I spent a fabulous 120 minutes with her and then decided to re-visit Phear Park for another look at the Olive-backed Pipit. The sun was out and it was under more open cover so I had superb views.

How special to see the #OliveBackedPipit #Pipit #Birding Also a good time to remind folk that #Turkeys 🦃 like living just as much as we do and a #NutLoaf for #Christmas is a much kinder, compassionate thing to eat UNLESS the #Nuts are neighbours who haven't been very nice too you. Best leave them to their own devices, rather than opting for #Cannibalism during the #Festive Season🎄 😜 ❤️ #Peace #Love !

I nipped down to #Exmouth with a birder friend this morning as an Olive-backed Pipit had been seen last evening. I've never seen one before and after 15 minutes or so, one of the other birders there found it under an oak tree (where it favoured yesterday). Watched it for 45 minutes before I had to leave for work. Here is my best photo and a link to some video.
