My home desktop - 1 March 2000 - a Pentium 233 MMX.
The OS was Debian Linux - you can see a printed Tux near the keyboard.
No broadband connection, just a 56k modem.
Iomega Zip drive - so I could download stuff at Uni and bring it back home.
One year later, this became my first 24/7 server.

@thomasfuchs let’s hope they don’t continue with those Fuji bodies and sensors like the QuickTake 200. Those combined ugliness with profoundly terrible sensors. Maybe they’ll rebadge the Canon Elph S100 this time!
(The original QT were stunning for their era, and beautifully designed. The 200 series was the equivalent of rebadging HP inkjets as Apple ImageWriters. Definitely products from the era of Apple’s fiscal and management nadir.)
I am a 66-year-old grandma, and I gotta say that Beat Saber on the VR is just pure damn fun. And a great workout for me. Lizzo songs are my fav, but I am still mad at them for making her take out some of the cusswords. I sing every one of them.
