When I was a young (as opposed to the old that I am now) I used to write some horridly dark songs - mainly just to shock my dark-humored friends. While I don't remember any of the songs from back then in detail, I do remember after the news of the Jonestown mass suicide I wrote a nice little rock-a-billy ditty that included the lyrics "Everybody look around tell me what do you see? 900 bodies piled up to your knees." Every November 18th when I see a reminder via some "this date in history" I see this and my sad, sad mind simply jumps to those lyrics.

Okay, this started out as a computer project, and in my mind still is, but…
I think I have too many non-work projects going on. So far today I’ve readied one of the NMRC servers for migration to new hardware, worked on a coding project, added to draft for a blog for this coming Friday, and made some adjustments to the inverter/battery array part of the solar setup to try to maximize lowering of grid usage this evening. After dinner is dog walk, the actual hardware migration, and going over the bank statement. The weekend is flying by.
