I called him and he read the pages in which he tells of one of our experiences having mortar rounds miss our quarters and then, unable to sleep, he opened a Listerine bottle full of whiskey he’d received in a care package, I grabbed a couple cigars and we sat outside in the area between the trailers we were in dubbed “NCO Alley.”

Oldfriends.live Paul backup3/ FYI, I pulled the trigger on the snapshot restore and #OldFriends is back up. Once accounts got cleared of the pg_toast chunks, it was failing in the status table and that would have taken another several days to clean and who knows how many other tables.
Working out a better database backup solution...
