Quick Q and A!

What’s a mystery from your own life that you’ve never solved? The mystery from my own life I’ve never solved is how some decisions seem to arrive long before you understand them. For years, I had little thoughts that didn’t make much sense at the time. I wanted old places. I wanted travel. I wanted history, stories, graveyards, stone houses, strange corners of the world, and a life that felt more like mine.At the time, they were just thoughts. Then one by one, they started joining […]

Doors I Wanted to Open But Probably Shouldn’t.

Apparently, I have developed a thing for doors. Not normal doors. I’m not wandering around taking photos of freshly painted suburban front doors with shiny new handles and sensible security screens. No offence to practical doors, but they are not really my thing.I mean old doors. The strange ones. The heavy ones. The crooked ones. The ones tucked into stone walls or half-hidden in corners. The ones with iron hinges, peeling paint, arched tops, tiny windows, thick timber, bolts, latches and enough […]

Written on the wall:
"Every time I sleep in my house, there's a child who dies
Every time I kiss my mother, another kisses a coffin
Every time I close my door*, there's a house that gets bombed!"

Also, above this I believe are lyrics to one of Bu Nasser's songs - but I unfortunately do not know Arabic! (Solved by Kraks again! Link to the song is in the comments!) ✨
