@mjr Someone on the #OhGodWhatNow podcast recently said that local groups are the one thing Facebook still does well, and I'd agree there are a couple of groups I follow on Facebook that are decent.

Sure, Facebook only tells you about time-critical posts after the deadline has passed and makes it almost impossible to find a post you've seen before again, but a lot of the people who make these groups good just will not use any other website or platform, unless maybe something even worse

I used to be a fan of the #OhGodWhatNow, #PoliticsJoe and the #NewStatesman podcasts. But it has been fucking WILD how out of touch they are when it comes to Israel/Palestine.

So called progressives parroting hasbara like they work for Shin Bet.

I noticed it months ago but at this point it’s basically inexcusable. Unsubscribing from that shit ASAP.

I've been listening to the podcast #OhGodWhatNow and it's so strange and frustrating. It's a British politics podcast but pitched firmly in the centrist dad market. Some of the stuff they come away with is just bonkers but all the hosts are from the exact same London liberal bubble that they don't realise how wacky their opinions are.

But this morning's effort seems to be trying to rehabilitate #Zuckerberg.

So, I think this bears repeating:

He handed the presidency to #Trump, gave us #Brexit and #QAnon and is the reason American grandparents are now #Fascists.

Just because he's been down the fucking gym and seems to maybe want to punch Elon #Musk in the face (who doesn't) is no reason to lionise the greedy #cunt.
