I'm Nemin, a programmer from Hungary. I first became interested in coding at around age eight, when my late grandfather lent me his Enterprise 128k and a wonderful little book, that taught BASIC in a way even kids could easily grasp.
I work at a multinational as a Full-Stack Engineer (#python / #typescript).
Off-work I'm interested in #scheme, the #IndieWeb, and #Oddworld a niche series from the '90. When I'm not bashing keys, I enjoy #cycling a lot.
Oddwords is a blog I've been writing for nearly eight years now. It is a fansite dedicated to Oddworld, a platformer game series from the '90s, about a factory worker, who realizes how much he's exploited and is forced to rise up and rescue his fellows.
The blog contains reviews of the games, exclusive interviews with developers, and up-to-date info about what the studio is up to.

Been playing #Oddworld #Soulstorm for the past **checks notes, year** from time to time.
I got into a bug in the second to last level where Abe was on fire and dying whilst I triggered the cutscene.
Screen went dark afterwards. waited a minute, closed and opened the app in the hopes of either returning to the previous checkpoint or advance magically to the next one.
Turns out neither: Just got into the game with the option of creating a new one. 😪
