I just realized I have one (1) remaining video game on my backlog.

I used to have a very big one, but it stressed me out so I whittled it down over the years. I finished games I enjoyed, mercilessly dropped and traded in the ones I didn't, and getting increasingly more picky about new titles coming in. My wishlist is empty. I suppose being critical about recent games, the industry as a whole, and increased prices doesn't help.

Luckily, Octopath Traveler II is a very meaty game. I spent about half a year on the previous installment. Otherwise, I suppose I'll be replaying the other games I have.

Started a replay of #OctopathTraveler2 (I'll get 0 in the new year) I loved this game first time through - a major improvement on the first one. However within 20 minutes I remembered one of my favourite things - the music. Oh hell does this game jam.

Notando che sono già quasi 7 anni da quando giocai il primo, ho provato la demo di #OctopathTraveler2, iniziato con la Cacciatrice e constatato con sorpresa che ora i mostri domati possono essere macellati e i loro organi o commerciati o (immagino) usati dal personaggio Speziale nella produzione di medicine – ma mi ha parecchio irritato l'ipocrisia mistificante con cui il testo italiano parla di "consumare" il mostro.
