If you don’t mind harsh vocals and like synths/Synthwave, this album is utterly fantastic. I chose this track because I can’t get the clean refrain out of my head, even though I have no idea what they’re saying. Pretty at first, it opens up at 3 minutes in but keeps a nice balance of the pretty and the harsh. (Most of the album is harsher than this)
soffmi muhod

So glad to have encountered this community. So much to explore. I love people’s recommendations of obscure lesser-known music. Here’s mine: soffmi muhod. Currently playing semble [https://soffmimuhod.bandcamp.com/album/semble]1, as I do a lot. I keep saying I’m soffmi muhod’s biggest fan. I’ve not had anyone attempt to challenge me on that yet. … I may be soffmi muhod’s only fan. That obscure enough? Something like 20 albums [(and over 20 hours to listen to)] (at least on bandcamp) over the past 20 years or so. And as far as I know, only 1 fan. I find it really difficult to describe, even to put into some genre category. “Audio art”, it says. “Ambient”, it says. “Experimental”, it says. “Zonk”(?), it says. It even says Boards of Canada is its mother, and Autechre is its father, and that it is a “child of music”. As someone put it “a union with a tone generator [and something ~ I forget what]”. Is this obscure enough for this “Obscure Music” community? :) Surely. It’s the most obscure I know. 1 After semble, I’m hard pressed to pick a fave album (except the first and last, the weakest). … [Backspaced over a start of an attempt to describe some highlights, like everon, ripoonjadi, pHphimorphia, the enthusiast, both the “sides”, lojg mucg, jymg kega, counterpart, mq7, opsyem, Qavykr, qysqam, uwkivj mkiriac, and “the orange album”, because then I realise that’s nearly all of them]
